AMY ARLESA RONHAAR is a literary nonfiction author from Whidbey Island.

Ronhaar has been a passionate bibliophile and gifted writer all her life. She has practiced expressing herself through several forms including poetry, spoken word, personal and reflective essays, nature writing, literary journalism, and memoir.

She enjoys reading an array of genres from fiction to philosophy and studying academic subjects such as neuroscience, quantum mechanics, cosmology, and fine arts.

She holds a Metaphysical Science Doctorate and is a student of behavioral psychology and creative nonfiction writing.

Raising Amy: A Daughters Memoir is her first published work.

She lives with her books, her cats and her husband Jonathan.
